Varela LaMar

Some days ago I received a mail in my inbox from Varela LaMar, a fashion designer from Panama. I really appreciated her initiative, and her willingness to get known outside her mother country.

Varela LaMar will present the new woman collection at the Fashion Week Panama, bringing in 35 pieces, mostly evening and formal dresses. In this collection the designer incorporated the theme of Panama Canal bridges into her designs.

I think that the entire fashion world can only get better with the introduction of stylists from less-known countries, especially if they try to export their peculiar style and the characteristic elements from their country, as Varela LaMar does.

SUNSHINE PLEASE?

After weeks of sun, sunglasses, bare legs and icecreams..the sun is gone...

I hope it is only for today because I still want to wear my cute flower dress en shorts!

Today I'm wearing my new blouse and pants..Bought them both in the Zara sale.

The pants was only €12.95 and the blouse €19.95..Combine them with a simple shirt and my ZARA wedges.

RELAX OUTFIT

Didn't spend that much time on my outfit today...

Last sunday I went shopping to amsterdam and bought this boots at ZARA for only 40 euro! Instead of 90 euro! I was very happy because I really want to buy some nice boots..

Also bought a ripped jeans, a black pair of trousers and a linen blouse..

FLORAL DRESS

Finally found the perfect floral dress! I looked everywhere and couldn't find a cute dress..

The weather in Holland is still very hot so I can wear my dress right away! Wearing the dress with the ZARA wedges..

I PASSED MY EXAM

Today I had to sign my diploma! I’m finally finished.. It’s such a relief.Next year I’m going to study at the acedemie Vogue. In about 4 years I will be an all round stylist! I’m really excited to go to Amsterdam and making a start on a new study!

TO HOT TO HANDLE

OMG, it's SO hot in Holland. It's almost 35 degrees! And I'm not used to it but this is a lot better than the rain wich we have most of the time in Holland. Found this dress in the back of my closet. Bought it last year for only 10 euro's I think. And I have never worn it before! How stupid, because it is a really cute dress especialy for this kind of weather!
